The Vinum&Cibus Italici Consorzio brought its wines to San Paolo during exclusive tastings

DESENZANO, ITALY, December 22, 2017 /24-7PressRelease/ — Great success for the Vinum&Cibus Italici Consortium’s events in Brazil this month. The association which represents a group of Italian small and medium wine companies located in the Veneto region has brought the best selection of its wines to San Paolo for some prestigious wine tastings.

Brazilians fell in love with Veneto wines during exclusive wine experiences which took place at Vinum Est, the new space in the capital conceived by the two stars sommeliers Anna Rita Zanier and Gianni Tartari.

The events offered an incredible opportunity to wine lovers, wine educators, wine & gastronomy journalists and traders to learn about Veneto wines and their peculiarities whose quality and variety are deeply linked to long traditions and place of origin.

“As one of the founding wine producing region, there’s not much you can’t find in Veneto. From sparkling-of-the-moment Prosecco, to a deep, rich Valpolicella wines, ending on a sweet high note with Recioto,” said Annarita Zannier, well-known sommelier, owner and founder of Vinum est, who hosted all the events. “Much like Italian food, wines are designed to be easy drinking, match different cuisines and be enjoyed with loved ones around a family meal, be it lunch, or a feast, like for this festive season and for the coming year.”

Veneto’s growing reputation with wine in Brazil is due not only to the fact that it produces and exports more than any other Italian region, but it offers the greatest variety of types, ranging through nearly every color, flavor and style imaginable.

The Vinum&Cibus Italici Consorzio represents a diverse group of small and medium wine Italian companies. Through membership of the Consorzio, they have succeeded in transforming competition into an alliance that can be used to face global challenges, especially in new markets. Made in Italy, passion and entrepreneurship are the keywords of Vinum&Cibus Italici’s mission.
